My husband and I recently went on a trip to New England from Dallas. I discovered this gem of bakery by complete accident or, divine intervention. We were heading to the White Mountains, and we had to stop . My husband and I got two donuts each. Apple glazed and a pumpkin ? one for me. My husband got one with sugar and cinnamon and an Apple glazed. The crown Jewel was the absolute best carmel apple cider we've ever had. The kind that makes you want more and more. The surprising thing is, my second donut was still fresh three or four days later. We regret not buying a dozen. These are better than the big tourists, they also sell donuts ? Yes, we went there also. I highly recommend Leavitt's County Bakery ?

The BEST donuts in NH and likely top 5 in New England, made on site every day, go early in the a.m. and they are still warm! OMG!! Heaven in your hand! (edited 11/16/24) Nice new boxes guys, love the artwork, yes artwork not advertising! 🙂

I used to love this place and rave about it to everybody I could but I was very disappointed when I went this year they open at 4 AM so thinking I get there at six that They would have everything out and everything would be fresh but the shelves were pretty much empty and I didn’t have a great selection. The donuts weren’t nearly as good as I remember for the past 10 years I’ve been getting them and I’m pretty sure I was eating the donuts from the day prior because they did not taste fresh. I was also disappointed in my experience the owner wasn’t very kind when I asked if there was anything more in the back and she seemed annoyed at all transactions that I watched happen while I waited for my breakfast sandwiches I don’t think I’ll be back next time. I visit north Conway. I will no longer be recommending this place.

Disappointing for all the rave reviews. We got 4 cake donuts and they were all dry. The glazed yeast donut was delicious as was the apple fritter but it could do with more cinnamon. We also got a blueberry crumble donut that was tasty but dry as well. We won't be going out of our way to come back.

I came in on Saturday morning to pick up our order of 150 donuts for my daughter's wedding reception. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Our order was ready to go as promised. The owner (I believe?) came out from the back to ask me whose wedding it was. He was extremely friendly.

Now the important part. The donuts were absolutely delicious! Everyone at the wedding loved them. And many people told us that they were the best donuts they had ever had!

If you are in the area, you need to make a point to stop at Leavitt's Country Bakery. You will not be disappointed!

Very friendly and great service. Even though they are very busy, they take the time to be friendly and make sure you get what you need. Plus their turnovers are heaven! They also have a great selection.
Would highly recommend stopping here. Too bad we live in Washington State, otherwise I would be here everyday.

To start, I’ve eaten a lot of donuts from many, many places. The dozen donuts from Leavitt's today was the best donuts I’ve ever had-the whole family agreed. Perfect consistency of both the cake and raised. Nothing too sweet. Absolutely delicious. Quite possibly the perfect donuts.
