Ugliest cake I have ever had. I ordered a birthday cake and was very disappointed. Writing on the cake was very poor and sloppy. Not sure what they were trying to do in the middle of the cake. The cake itself was nothing to talk about. I wish I had gone with Pawleys Bakery or Publix - they make a prettier and a better tasting cake!
My opinion is that this bakery was a waste of money - expensive and certainly not worth the money.

Some of the best baked goods in the southern Grand Strand. Great cookies and muffins. Caution: In the summer, you'll want to either call ahead to reserve your muffin order or get there when the store opens. They are that good, especially the Lemon Zest.

One of those shops that is always an absolute pleasure to visit. Fabulous baked goods, preserves, condiments and tableware. Also an extensive wine collection, a must visit if you are in the area.

My husband absolutely loves Kudzu. I'm originally from Georgetown and when we come home it is a must for me to drive to Litchfield to get him the brownie cheesecake. This trip they were not cutting individual slices so I had to forego getting my preferred choices ?. However, you will enjoy the experience if you like home made desserts, jams, jellies, and food.

Great selection of jams, wines and sweet treats. Tried the cookies - were the right combination of soft inside and crispy on the edges. Went midday and most of the bread appeared sold out.

I have been buying cakes and pies from Kudzu bakery since they moved to and started their business in Georgetown. Everything is usually delicious but I have noticed the last few times I have been in to get pies that they taste different. Is there a new cook I bought a ginger crust lemon chess pie before Christmas and it had almost more crust than filling and it didn’t have much lemon flavor! It kind of had a hint of mayonnaise! So my favorite pie has always been the coconut and I came by and bought a half a pie today. It wasn’t the same! Usually very sweet vanilla custard filling but today it didn’t have that sweet vanilla flavor. It was more of an eggy flavor with a hint of salt. I also confess that I stopped buying your chocolate cake a year ago. I bought one for our family and everyone agreed that it was too salty.
