It was my first time stopping in. I wanted to try their "award winning carrot cupcakes," and it did not disappoint. We ordered an assortment of mini cupcakes and their Seasonal Julep. Again, the cupcakes are fantastic. They are moist and flavorful.

The shop itself is pretty and well decorated. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and upbeat. I like the vibe here and look forward to returning.

Very friendly people and a really good salted caramel latte! Super tasty, sweet but not overpowering the good coffee flavor. Super cute shop! Looks like a great variety of baked goodies too, though I didn’t try any. Clean and cool with lots of seating.

Have been here several times out of convenience and each time the staff has always been very unpleasant and unhelpful. The service is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. Staff sits on the floor behind the counter on their phone and is sloppy, the coffee is terrible, the bakery itself is never clean and the bathrooms always have overflowing trash. It feels like a bunch of kids are running this place. These prices definitely do not match the experience, customer service, or quality. Bird Bakery needs an all around makeover. We get better service at any random place we go in Dallas consistently than coming here where it is an uncomfortable environment. Do not recommend.

Elizabeth Chambers, we've been coming to Bird Bakery in HP Village ever since you opened. I think your baking staff needs more training on consistency with their cupcakes. Over the past year we've noticed them being more dry, and the frosting style is very inconsistent, especially with the seasonal ones. We were there this past weekend and I was really looking forward to getting my favorite pumpkin spiced cupcake, only to find that it was very dry, the frosting was not thick, and it wasn't spread all the way to touch the paper liner, as this is one of your trademarks. I did address it with the staff but they just said it's because they have to dip it in the sugar sprinkles. The cupcake did not look like any of the ones on your social media posts and was not consistent with prior years.

Bought a variety of cupcakes to try, flavorless and dense/ heavy cupcakes. Lemon, strawberry and vanilla tasted nothing like they should - just the standard tasteless cupcakes you tend to get in most places, full of sugar and overpriced for what it was. Box cake mix tastes so much better.

I recently visited and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I arrived about an hour before closing, hoping to get a coffee to go, but I was informed that they stop serving coffee an hour before closing. This was a letdown, especially since I was there well within their operating hours.

To add, I ordered a banana bread, which was served cold without any offer to heat it up initially. When I asked for it to be warmed up, it took over 10 minutes, and I had to remind the staff to retrieve it. The employee that retrieved it acted annoyed that I was even asking for it. The service felt very lackluster throughout the visit, which made the overall experience less enjoyable.

Based on this visit, I’m hesitant to return. There are plenty of other places that offer better service and attention to customers.

My recommendation to management is this: Consider serving coffee and your other menu items until your doors are closed, not stopping an hour before closing just so that the staff can complete their closing duties before the end of operating hours.

Lastly, be more attentive to your customers, even those not dressed in Lululemon and Peter Millar.

Always well stocked, well staffed and great atmosphere. Lots of options for food; soup, salads, savory and sweet items. Food quality consistently good. Iced lemonade tea and latte are amazing as well! My dad loves their pecan pie ?.

I love bird bakery! Most times i've come they have been super super busy (lunch time and weekends). The staff is always very pleasant and knowledgeable about their menu. They have a lot of seating however I think a lot of people come and stay for multiple hours which is hard for come and go customers. Wish they had another long high table seating to add more space.

For sandwiches during busy times expect a 30 minute wait.

Their vegetarian california and spinach artichoke grilled cheese are both awesome! So good and flavorful.

I think their cupcakes are pretty sweet but they have some flavors that are more subtle.
