They offer a wide selection of cakes and pastries baked on-site. The spacious seating section at the back is a delight because it is separate from the all the activity at the front of the shop. They also serve coffee and the best part is that they remain open much later than most coffee places. The mocha frappe had the right amount of sweetness.

Such a great local bakery! The service was incredible. There’s a whole back room with tons of comfortable seating (and fireplace) so you don’t have to eat in the cold. My peanut butter frozen hot chocolate hit the spot — very peanut buttery, I loved it. The regular frozen hot chocolate was also tasty. The cinnamon roll was good, more of a flakey pastry than a gooey cinnamon roll which I enjoyed. All Kosher certified too if that’s your thing. Highly recommend for beautiful pastries, friendly service, and ample seating to enjoy your food and stay a while!

I’m very glad this place opened up because I’m in this neighborhood often and it’s a great place to go and get something sweet. Personally, I don’t recommend the drinks because they’re way too expensive (like Starbucks expensive), and also I always get it to go because if you stay you have to tip and all that. The cakes and cookies are all very good, nothing special but a nice standard quality. I also really like the ice cream, it’s kind of stretchy like gelato and they have a good range or flavors.

I had one of the two versions of napoleons that they offer.here. They offer the typical one and the one I chose, which has some fresh berries mixed in with the layers of custard ($8.95 including tax). I was not happy with it because the pastry had no taste at all, so each time I took a bite, all I tasted was the pleasing custard and occasionally some fresh berries mixed in with the custard. IF they had offered it, I might as well have ordered a cup of custard with berries for what would have likely been less money. The napoleon is large, and is enough for two people. I did not try their coffee. The bakery has an inconspicuous entrance to a LARGE dining area in the back. On another visit here, I tried their triple chocolate mousse cake (pictured here), which I found to be very disappointing because the chocolate flavors were too mild.

*Second visit: Their cheesecake was pretty classic, apple crumb didn’t go wrong. But I won’t recommend croissants. My chocolate almond one tasted good but the dough was not very crispy outside.

A bakery with tons of options..! Overall it’s on the sweet sweet side.. but if u r ok with it, then it’s a place for you. I might visit again for cheesecake next time.

?Napoleon was outstanding. The middle layer was soggy unfortunately, but both the top and the bottom were crispy. I recommend finish it asap. Although it was huge..

Tres leches cake was ok, a classic. Delicious but nothing really stood out.

안쪽에 널찍한 공간이 있고 나의 서버 Sarah는 너무나 친절해서 커피를 마시는 내내 아주 즐거운 시간이었다. 라떼와 피칸파이를 먹었고 초콜릿 케잌 한 조각을 포장해서 집에 갔다. 매번 스태프들 전부가 아주 친절했고 화장실 또한 깨끗했다. 커피는 리필이 되는 것 같다. 나는 아주 자주 가게 될 것 같다

Delicious sweet treats, they also have a cafe, ice cream, and seating in the back. Dessert lovers will be very happy here. Avenue Bakery is clean, comfortable and inviting. Definitely recommend it!
